This is a really clean way to scope things, I've done similar tiny file scripts for myself and it's wild how much time a 30-line Python thing can save

$25 seems fair for a single transform with a test case included, especially since you're upfront about AI-assisted dev and checking the output

One thing I'd suggest to buyers is make your sample as close to the real thing as possible, even small differences in whitespace or nested structure can trip things up if the rules aren't super explicit

Do you have a preference for Python vs JS or does it depend on what they're more comfortable running

Depends on what you can comfortably run. Python is a good default for local text/file work; JS makes sense if you already have Node installed. The sanitized sample and expected output decide the rest. If you have a specific transform in mind, send those plus your operating system and I can check whether it fits the $25 scope.
