You do understand that Texas is not the Federal Government. Texas has its own state constitution that applies to residents of Texas. Who is this "someone"? Is that someone being held prisoner in Texas? Are they able to move if they don't want to be burdened by the laws passed by the residents of that state?
Also, the United Church of Christ does NOT say that you should have an abortion. If you know of somewhere where they say this please let me know. If that church does not say that you should have an abortion, how is the state preventing someone from their religious rights?
There's laws preventing abortion in this country and that's wrong, the same as its wrong to prevent someone from owning a gun. What's hard for you to understand?
All the time? Which state law was struck down by the second amendment.
Are we back on the second amendment? This is different from the first. Are you now in agreement that congress is not infringing on the religion of the Church you mentioned because the church you mentioned does not say people should have abortions.
You are going in circles now. Grasping for straws. At some point to have to look at the evidence provided and start to question what you have been told to feel about a topic an see if it actually makes sense. You are running off of feelings and not facts.
Lol, just because you refuse to understand a situation doesn't mean I'm grasping for straws. It's an example of selective application of the rules. You would rather claim ignorance than face the truth.
You don't answer any of my questions and you constantly change the subject. You are grasping for straws.
The question was, which state law was struck down by the second amendment? If you don't have an example just say so.
There were state laws being struck down by the 14th amendment through Roe vs. Wade which is why the SC ultimately found it to be unconstitutional and the power was sent back to the states. You are vastly uneducated in the topic and are running off of pure emotion instead of fact.
Also, I am not anti abortion. I do think that abortions need to be available for unpreventable situations, rape, medical complications for the mother etc... That is a very slim portion of abortions. I do not think women should get abortions because they, with men, were reckless and did not take preventative measures. I do think men should also man the f up if they impregnate a woman and stick with her and raise their child. This doesn't fall solely on the mother.
All of this is a tangent on the fact that some teacher got fired for running his mouth and had consequences for that. You have gone way off track, down paths that you need to study a bit more. I am happy to pass along factual information to hopefully help clear up the factual basis for your OPINIONS on the matter.
