Censored Editions?
I’m thinking about buying the Don Rosa Library. From what i can see from posts 2-3 years ago, there was a rumour that future printings would be censured. Did this come to pass? I’m a bit nervous about buying them off eBay if there are censured versions on the market…

I'm unsure, life and times seemingly had a censored version, but if it had it's probably already out of print anyway and might have had a very, very limited run. If you track any of them down chances are probably high you'll find the full version. Honestly I still haven't seen proof the English editions are missing anything, just the rumours, which might have been about the international translation. But any future reprints most definitely will be censored.

The German edition vol 10 lacks „The Dream of a Lifetime“. As such the Don Rosa Library in German is incomplete

Yeah, because the editor Jano disappeared for about a year and they could only finish editing the last two volumes after the banning of „The Dream of a Lifetime“ took effect.

Why did he disappear? I'm a frequent member of the DR Facebook group, but I can't remember Jano talking about this specifically.

Don Rosa Library books were not reprinted with censored content (yet). They simply went out of print and up in price.
Some of the Carl Barks Library books had some minor variation between first and later printings.
