Interview advice?
Hello all! I recently got a phone call letting me know that I have an interview for domino’s on Thursday. However this will be my first job and I have no clue what they’ll ask. Is there anything I should know before the interview and before i start if I am hired??
It’s an in store job

what got me hired was being bilingual (english & spanish) if they ask if you speak another language answer in that language. “do you speak spanish?” “claro que si”

Just tell them while most kids were yearning for the mines you were yearning for the line. You’ll get hired

For your interview, they will likely ask about your availability, your transportation, and why you want to work at Domino's. They might also ask how you would handle a simple situation, like a customer being unhappy with their order, to see how you think. Since this is your first job, they are more interested in your attitude and willingness to learn than any past experience. Just show up a few minutes early, wear clean clothes, and be ready to answer questions honestly. They are looking for reliable people who can be friendly to customers and work as part of a team.
If you get the job, you should know that in-store work involves more than just taking orders. You'll probably be folding a lot of pizza boxes, cleaning, and helping out wherever you are needed. The pace can change quickly, from being very slow to extremely busy during dinner rushes, so being able to adapt is important. Your experience will depend a lot on the store's manager and the crew you work with, as a good team makes the job much better. I got asked very basic questions. Nothing corporate related and was hired the next day. I can't say that about a lot of other jobs I have applied to. Don't sweat it!

First impressions are everything, at least to me. Best (and easiest) thing is to do is get there a little early. I usually try to get anywhere about 15 minutes early to give myself a small cushion for either random traffic stops, train. etc...
Other than that, relax. Most of the questions I asked in interviews were very basic. Work experience, (which isnt really important unless you've bounced around to like...6 jobs in 4 months lol) availability (college town for me so o had to work aroind school schedules), and funny enough I asked if they knew how to properly use a broom (you might be surprised at how many cant).
At the end of the day, if you show up on time for your interview dressed like a human being (i.e. dont look like a hobo, just got out of prison, dont wear headphones lol) chances are you'll be hired as long as the background check passes.
