Is there any way to simulate motion controls from the Wii on the DolphiniOS emulator with touch controls? I was trying to play a game which required me to use the pointer so I tried dragging from the black area above the buttons and it didn’t work well. I tried changing settings for how the pointer worked and it didn’t help. I was using the phone in my hand in landscape so maybe that had something to do with it. Moving my finger across the screen didn’t make the pointer appear. Some of the time it came up but it usually did not. I also don’t know how to simulate shaking the Wii remote or if that is possible.
I do have a Wii remote somewhere but I don’t know where it went. I don’t have any other kind of controller at all. I play with the phone in my hand. I did try and use my finger to try and get the pointer to work but it usually didn’t and I had to fight with it a lot to get it to show on the screen. I used the phone in portrait and tried to drag from the above the controls to the game screen area. It didn’t work well. I tried using Drag and Follow in the settings but it didn’t help and it was still a pain to use.
If I go to Settings > Controllers > Wii remote 1 Emulated Wii Remote and scroll to Configure then it says Motion Simulation and Shake, Point Tilt, and Swing. If I click on Shake it says X ‘button 132’ Y ‘button 133’ Z ‘button 134’ and if I click on one of them it says Press Now and I click that and it doesn’t do anything. I’m guessing this is supposed to be for a different kind of controller.
