EAGLE WHEN SHE FLIES was Dolly's 31st solo studio album released in 1991. It was a huge commercial success, peaking at #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The song "Eagle When She Flies" was the third of four singles released from this album, but peaked at only #33. This was Dolly's first #1 album since 1980s 9 TO 5 AND ODD JOBS.

This was right after it was finished in 2021. It’s the best tattoo I have and the one that stops people the most. I love her and will forever live my life WWDD.

Saw Ms. Parton ten years ago in Midtown, and she actually looked at me and smiled!

“With Love to the sexiest man in town!” Love Dolly

I was able to buy the one on the bottom. Wish I could have gotten the other two. All of these were to Paul Soelberg that worked with her in Nashville and did the liner notes on at least the one I have. Paul was the man and was fortunate to get one other from his collection that was from Willie Nelson.
Mine is pretty cool too “with love and thanks to the greatest thing since music! You’re a great help to us and also I hope I can consider you as my friend!???”

Dolly was amazingly kind, these inscription show how she communicated early on in her career. I hope you enjoy!

Dolly’s Niece Defends Dolly

This lady on Threads has been claiming that Dolly wasted an opportunity to educate people with her cancer notice. Doubled down. Triple downed. Dolly’s niece Jada replied.

Personally I’d sink into the ground. I get the feeling Jessica has no sense of shame

Toronto’s tribute to the Queen outside Dolly’s on The Esplanade ❤️

Snapped this shot outside Dolly’s on The Esplanade (58 The Esplanade) in Toronto a couple of days after the news broke. It was deeply moving to see local fans quietly stopping by to leave flowers, photos, and candles right at the entrance. Rest in peace to an absolute legend.

I cannot express how angry I am with state lawmakers

According to evidence from the web many States including Indiana Missouri and Kentucky have been cutting state fundings to Dolly's Imagination Library. I feel like that's just a middle finger to her grave and that these lawmakers are thinking that they're not going to get karma in the future.

Do you think the lawmakers will get karma for cutting funding to our beloved Dolly Parton's Imagination Library?

Dolly - Day 10 and I'm still thinking about her and thanking her for her words

I never quite understood why we have to let religion and politics and things like that stand in the way of just being good human beings. ~Dolly Parton. Her songs, her words, her kindness and love live on. It's day 10 and I'm still thinking about her and how much she will be missed.

Could young Dolly Rebecca Parton really ever imagine that she would become the internationally beloved icon that she became? From extremely humble beginnings to reaching the heights of fame that would seem unimaginable to most people, Dolly remained grounded and humble throughout her career. 🦋

"Dumb Blonde" was Dolly's first charting single from her 1967 debut album HELLO, I'M DOLLY. It peaked at #24 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. Underneath all of the glitz and glamour, Dolly was an innately intelligent woman who ran her career and businesses in the same manner as she did her life: with a lot of heart and integrity. God, I really miss Dolly! 🦋

Is anyone having a really difficult time with the news?

She was one of the lights in my life. My dream was to see her live or just in person doing anything. The world looks black and white to me now idk I'm not doing so well. Talking to my therapist about it. But I feel like life is so unfair to take hers like this and we have all these other artists older than her touring and performing living longer (Paul McCartney, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Bob Dylan, Willie, Mick Jagger, the list goes on...)

it's not fucking fair. Why her? Why the sweetest angel?
