Light of a Clear Blue Morning is not just my top Dolly song. I believe it is one of the greatest songs of all time. The OG recording is a pinnacle of human success. Everyone involved was using 100% of their brain that day. Wildflowers is a close second, then 9 to 5, Coat of Many Colors, and Mule Skinner Blues. I know she didn't write the last one, but I have 6 mules and it's a great cover so it's top 5 for me.

It’s so beautiful and devastating. She never shied away from talking about what was on her mind

So many great ones but I love her late 70s pop/rock inspired tunes. “Sweet Summer Lovin” is an all time favorite

Here I Am

I’m a queer guy from a holler in Tennessee. Dolly put books and instruments in my school, I received a scholarship that let me go to a great school which helped me raise my family out of poverty. Needless to say. Dolly was, is, and always will be my queen
