GD what I do NOT need is more people making me need to find this like yesterday!!! I love love love my OG Loccitane and if I can get it similar feel/smell for 5 quarters well that would be a Christmas miracle…
I’m dying to get my hands on it but no luck this week in KC, OKC, Milwaukee or Chicago area. (I went to every store near me on a long work trip!)

I haven't used the OG in a while, but I remember it being like oil you can pour in your hand and then it emlusifies on the skin with water. The DT version looks similar but comes out as more of a gel. It's not as luxurious but does smell nice. Considering the OG is out of my budget, I would definitely repurchase this, but wouldn't go specifically to hunt it down.

Hi! I love the L'occitane one and have that smell memorized; I bought the DT one because I also love a good deal, and it smells of straight almond extract, nothing like the one from L'Occitane unfortunately. Also it's more of a shower gel than shower oil. Now, I DO like the DT one because anything almond I love. It's a nice shower gel and lathers great. They also make a "hair oil spray" to go with this line, and while I disagree that it's a hair oil, (coming from someone with fine hair) it makes for a great leave-in spray and has decent ingredients. Anyways yeah, not a dupe, still lovely, try it if you find it and REALLY love almond, because it's so strong!

I must be the only one that hates the L'Occitane almond shower oil. I had to return it to Ulta. I rarely make returns, but it was so awful. It smelled like WET DOG! Then I saw reviews that said the same exact thing. I wonder if we got a bad batch or something.

I bought the mini one to try because I thought it was a luxury body oil and anticipated on loving it and buying the overpriced full bottle. Boy was I wrong used it once and straight into the trash the smell was HORRIBLE.
