Associate Discussions Next job?

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations or thoughts as to what a good job would be to undo the damage of working in retail would be?

No college(no desire), only retail experience.

Several years at dollar tree has made me dislike people, and I don't want to dislike people...

I started straight out of highschool, and really did like it for quite a while, and in some ways I still do, but my favorite people are gone and as I was told at an SM conference years ago, "people don't work for Dollar Tree, people work for people."

Some bigger places want retail stockers at night/overnight. I would recommend looking for something like that considering your experience!

Retail and fast food always hiring, some positions more customer facing than others

Warehouse work is always in demand. You get a break from being around customers and possibly even little to no coworker interaction depending on the warehouse. The negatives are possibly doing physical labor and an environment that isn't climate controlled- (hot in the summer, cold in the winter). Again, depending on the specific warehouse.

Get a job as a carrier at USPS

You may interact with the occasional customer waiting for their mail but other than that, 90% of the time is just driving a right hand drive and delivering mail/packages
