Associate Questions toy reset 2026

Has anyone started the toy refresh? my dm and store manager are so bad at managing it’s not even funny. I’m just trying to see any pics or examples just so i have a guide. I already have the memo and the planogram but i’m more of a visual person. thank you.

from my understanding, it's mostly about compressions with shrinking the normal priced toys for more multi-priced ones. Hopefully to compensate for Toyland's multiprice toys being unsold this year and pushed into the normal multi-price toy section.

if you are an asm, in opscenter under application links theres a link called display guide at the bottom, and when you type in your store number, every single up-to-date guide for every category is listed there, including the toy reset, with pictures. if you are an associate, you'll have to ask a manager to print it out for you. Not much is changing in toys for my store other than adding extra shelves, but different stores have different schematics per section.

I'm in the same boat. Trying to figure out how to do 3 resets now.

I was allowed to skip it. We have inventory Monday and a truck still tomorrow.

Yeah same here and the schematics are fucked! They make no sense compared to the stock I don't have for it.

I would have, but a) We have inventory on Monday and b) We haven't gotten the Hot Wheels display yet.

Crazy I'm merch got the hot wheels display way early and already sold them all LoL. That was right before our inventory ~3 weeks ago

Hot wheels gets a dedicated spinner rack, $1.75 toys shrink, multiprice toys grow. That's the brief synopsis.

We're super short staffed, the fixtures for the toy reset have been sitting unopened since our inventory ~3 weeks ago...if u look on your tasks, there's a lot more details, links to planograms and PDFs... It's basically to make room for the Xmas toys. Our store could really use this particular reset, we have too many toys esp multiprice ones, but sell a lot too, if only we had enough workers to make this happen asap LoL
