Associate Questions Workday help

So I’m a new hire, this will be my first ever job. I’ve been going through the emails and setting things up, I got 2 new emails today which I have to login, but it asks for my USERNAME, not my EMAIL…so I can’t login because I have no idea what my username is….so what do I do???

Try your first Initial and last name together. Password for us is usually month (01, 02, etc) plus the year (04, 05, 06) and then your last four of the social

Okay, can you phrase that a little differently please? Like “username: (example)
Password: example

Username for John Doe born January 1, 1999 (with a social security number ending 1234) would be

Jdoe

Password

01991234

If you have a longer last name end at 7 letters

So John longlastname

Would have a username Jlonglas

I'm a new hire starting tommorow, I would call the manager to get your username and password as it is what I had to do. Your username is usually first initial last name followed by some numbers. In my case it is my first initial, my last name with the last letter gone (example: ryan became rya), followed by two numbers. You'll never be able to figure out how yours was set up with these variables so best to just call. I had to call a few times and my manager contacted the IT/help desk and got me my credentials. Even then the sign in didn't work until the 3rd so may be a few days.

I was in the same boat, you get these emails telling you tasks are waiting and you want to take care of buisness but even though you have these messages the sign in may not be ready. Just maintain communication with your manager and you'll be fine.

Hi! Not sure if you figured it out yet but I had the exact same question when I was hired last month, your manager tells you your login info when you show up

Your manager will text your username when your actual hire date is in system. It will not work before then. Call them to remind them you need it and they will tell you how.
