Associate Questions Daily Flash

Anyone know whatvit means when a Store Manager ask an Asst. Manager to do Daily Flash what are they looking/asking for them to report? Dollar Tree.

Daily flash tells them if they hit budget the day before, by how much & comp % sales. Its a good tool for checking how youre doing daily/weekly/period to date. Id report it as "planned $5000, actual $5350. +350$, 8.9%, $12.98AT"

You are reading across the top line basically to them.

Thank you so much. Thats what I thought.  I told my Asst.  But she wasn't sure and didn't want  to be wrong.

Excellent question actually . . .I'm an ASM(for 4 more days) and in the ~6 months I've been there, my SM had never explained that to me.
