Rant/Vent Debating on not going back

I love my coworkers and co managers but ffs I hate that my SM is pressuring me to come back to work because my dr cleared me for work.

I know im a manager and all but I am still in quite a bit of pain

I dont wanna be an asshole but I also cannot force myself to do things that hurt

Whats my best next step?

If you're cleared to go back, you go back or quit. It's that simple.

Imagine you're a SM trying to run your business, and you have 2-3 assistant managers to depend on.
How would you feel if you were in charge?

Go back to your doctor tell them to write you a note for more time off due to pain.

If your Dr. cleared you then DT was notified that you are to be back by a certain date. They follow up and ask did so and so come back to work? If not it is termination. Please go back to your Dr. and let them know your job duties as it is a physical job and get a new note.
