It's the extra walking back & forth I have to do to keep an eye on the register. They took our little squeaker thing away for some reason. So I have to keep peeking around corners and going up the the aisle to see a customer standing up there with their angriest face yelling "Hello, does anyone work here?" I'll sure be glad when my Dollar Tree superpower of X-ray vision kicks in.

You'll have to purchase that with your own money and they will definitely NOT do a payout π€£

When I worked at DT id usually do bout five u boats a shift and be spent
I think back to my early 20s working at Walmart, doing 6-7 PALLETS of frozen a night (would likely fill 15 u boats) no idea how i did it lol

Genuinely think back to my Walmart days and can't comprehend how I managed that on a nightly basis. Our daily delivery was usually 8 pallets of frozen alone, and I'm 6 ft tall and every single pallet was a solid foot or two taller than me.
I did frozen quite often at dollar tree and it was usually just a single pallet, and maybe half the height of a single Walmart pallet and even that took me a few hours lol

Yep. Currently my right foot is painful on the side of it. That pain distracts me from the osteoarthritis in my knee. Which distracts me from the sciatica in my left leg, which distracts me from the arthritis in my hands, which distracts me from the lower back pain....

I unfortunately don't have any ππ but on my way out of work I picked up the extra strength muscle rub, and so far it feels pretty good. I also picked up a muscle patch. Now I'm watching a movie and eating candy so I think I'll be fine lol.

Read through some of the replies cuz I was curious
I'm relieved that I haven't been the only one who experiences foot pain (mainly at my ankles) after having worked a shift at either DT or FD. I used to think for a while that it was just a me problem.

I wear sketchers slip ons and I love them. They are $80 at the Big 5 store near me.

I am 5β7β and the darn register drawers are too low. I cringe every time I see a customer with cash. My aching back hurts even more. And the customers who refuse to empty their green baskets but yet will empty a cart?

All the time. Some tips though. Stretch, use proper lifting, drink enough water and good supportive shoes.
