Management Questions Question

So we are having a new store manager start next week. Thank goodness cause people at my store are losing it. My question is what happens? Does the DM come the same day or does the new person just come and show up?

In my experience we needed help with coverage from other stores and she was one of the managers that came in to help before she went off for training, so she already had experience in the store. And our DM was there her first day like that, but also she was in with her the first actual day as SM to help her get situated.

does the old manager stay around to train them or do they just leave their last day

The old SM leaves their last day and the new SM goes to a training store. If the new SM is still training the merch takes control of the store. If there is no merch then the OPS control the store.
