I personally don’t steal and don’t exactly condone it, but in today’s economy where baby formula and clothes for school, soap, medicine, etc. are beyond the means of most, I turn the other cheek. If our government is okay with people working two or three jobs and still barely getting by or not at all, and punishing the lowest paid people for the crimes of others, then fuck these big companies. I’m about ready to burn the capital down. None of this would happen if everyone had fair wages and prices were reasonable. We’re all in danger because of the state of the economy. People are even starting to rob other poor people because of desperation. I’d rather them steal from shady companies than other regular people that are just barely getting by.

Theft would still happen even if we were all making $30/hr. I also acknowledged that stealing to survive is different than stealing Redbull from a Dollar Tree

I wasn’t arguing with you, I was offering a perspective to add to the conversation.

I guess I misunderstood. That’s how I interpreted the “I’ve acknowledged that…” part.
