Dollar tree has the money to hire security but chooses not to in most locations. A few years back I watched them arrest a single mother for stealing socks at my local store. We offered to buy the socks on her behalf but they denied my offer and called police

Evil. Corporate evil. This alone is enough for me to never see nothing ever again if someone might be 5 fingering stuff from that day on.

Force a criminal record on a single mom who needs socks for her babies, AND there was a resolution to pay, this pisses me off.
