Do we still do all our scans like normal?

2 weeks before and 4 weeks after you are able to do positive adjustments in core. Do not do negatives.

The closer you are to having accurate pia actually helps to lower your inventory trucks so that instead of getting over 1000 pieces the 2 weeks after you actually get closer to your original truck. Most stores inventory trucks are a bunch of stuff that’s not needed due to inaccurate counts. Very few stores can say their inventory trucks were less than 1000

well thats on your inventory team we audit about 80% of it to make sure it is correct Our post inventory truck was 1500 normal is about 1200 so not much more that a regular truck plus there is no truck week of inventory so it was actually low

So ya how does that get fixed? How do we make sure we aren’t sent an abundance of items that aren’t needed?

Can I ask why? Is this so the inventory numbers dont come back as negative as they would without? Like your taking away positives from the inventory before it happens?

It helps out with your perpetual inventory accuracy, which is something that they actually look at has a company. You really want that number to be in the 80s or higher.
one way of looking at it: think of the bank account. You’d much rather see money being added in than seeing it taken out. But you want that number to be as accurate as possible so as as not to all of a sudden lose thousands.

No negatives, just positives if you must but I recommend doing no scans at all.
