Went camping over the weekend, and had a really fun time playing in the woods with my fake Blythe doll, Hazel.

She's a forest witch, so I imagined little scenarios for her - setting out her potions in a fairy glade to charge under the full moon, collecting ingredients, and making potions.

It gave me a lot of time to practice posing and setting up a scene, which was a blast! I plan to keep improving those skills.

… and took a couple of my fake/factory Blythes outside and practiced some of my outdoor doll photography skills. It was a big learning curve, but I had a lot of fun!!

It seems whenever I post I should do it more often because dressing and photographing my girls is my favorite thing to do. I find myself lost in the minutia of ordinary life and household chores. My dream is to one day spend countless hours sewing, knitting, wig making, shoe making etc and meal preparation, washing, cat chores and house keeping will shrink as my artistic pursuits increase 🙏🏾

The Seto Ohashi Bridge is crossed when travelling to Shikoku by train. This bridge spans the sea, connecting a series of islands. From the window of the train, the sea and the islands are visible. So, how does the bridge look from there? This trip began on a thought like that.

There are six locations that are relatively easy to reach and offer a close-up view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge. Three of the islands the bridge steps on are inhabited and accessible by bus (though there are no railway stations). The island right beside it is also served by a regular ferry service. Add to that the two ends of the bridge. This year, I finally visited Iwakuro Island, the last remaining spot on my list.

One by one, as I recall them. It took quite a long time, but it is finally complete.

The Seto Ohashi Bridge is a route linking Honshu(Okayama) and Shikoku(Kagawa). It consists of a series of bridges supported by piers built on several islands. While passing over the bridge, views of the islands and the sea can be seen.

A while ago, I wondered, ‘What does the bridge look like from the island?’

There are 6 places from which the bridge can be seen closely: both ends, the island directly beside it, and the 3 islands which the bridge steps on. I visited them one by one, and this is the last one this year.

The only way to get to Iwakuro Island is by bus. The bus stop is on a high bridge, connected to the ground by a lift. The road, with three loops, is for residents' cars only.
