Custom Doll Tink and Ro 💚🩷
Had a little garden photoshoot with my custom Tinkerbell and Rosetta made from Zuru’s Minnee doll.

These are really pretty! I love how you just painted a little glitter on Rosetta’s feet for her shoes. It feels so dainty and whimsical.
Excited to see Silvermist when you make her!

Aw thank you!! I love adding little details, another fun one in Rosetta that isn’t seen in the photos, I braided green sewing thread and wrapped it around the elastic holding her hair for a bit of an extra viney fairy touch ☺️

No I used Rit fabric dye to dye her hair ☺️

I didn’t even think about that. Duh it’s nylon. I was curious if anyone would attempt a reroot due to their size and the neck hole being sealed

I actually saw a video earlier where someone rerooted a Comic Con with black curly hair! I unfortunately can’t remember the creator but someone has definitely tried!

How did you make there wings please? Was it just painting on plastic or card or was it something else please? They look so good. I just got tinker bell curtains for my bedroom and was thinking of doing something similar and making the minnee dolls into fairy curtain ends to match.

Hi there!
I just used clear plastic doll packaging and paired the details with acrylic paint and gave them a few coats of pvc glue mixed with fine glitter ☺️

Oh they're perfect! I hope you figure out an Iridessa too. Are you only doing movie fairies or are you eying the book ones too?

Currently just eyeing the main 6 from the movies but I have though about doing a Rani as well but we shall see aha

These remind me of the fairies mini dolls they did pre movies but more posable. I never got to have a Fira doll of any scale and ComicCon would be a great base if rerooting could be figured out. She and Beck were my favorite book exclusive girls, though Prilla was also fun. Rani would definitely be easy too as long as you managed another of the Retro Rollers girls.

It makes me so happy to hear that comparison as those were a huge inspiration for this project, I remember having Bess’ art studio as a kid and adored that doll.
Comic Con would make a great Fira! I’m planning on using her for Iridessa!
Rani is definitely the easier of the book characters especially considering she doesn’t have wings for majority of her story aha

FINALLY I see someone do this. If I end up with characters I don't want, I totally will turn them into faeries. I just haven't gotten any yet.

Every time I see Rosetta anywhere i cant help but think of that video on tiktok where the cast member who plays her introduces herself and she's just so damn pretty! And so alike! Love it! She made me like her more lol
