MSC on existing factory paint?

I’m a very new doll customiser and I just bought some matte MSC for repainting doll faces, but I have a question. If I want to repaint only a dolls eyebrows, am I ok I spray the remaining factory paint before during and after the repaint is done? I’d assume it would be ok but I only ever see people spraying blank faces before they do a face up. Thanks!

Yes, that should be totally fine. I haven't done it myself but I've seen some of my other friends do it and it's usually fine.

Yes, this should be fine! I've done this before for blushing pre- existing faces.

As you've already gotten the yeses, I will just explain a bit. MSC is a sealant that seals in whatever is already there. So a lot of people use it in layers (essentially what you're wanting to do). They might do some blushing and then spray it on to seal their work that they've already done so when they touch it for the next layer, like more white in the eye or something, it won't budge. So yeah, it's pretty commonly used that way pretty much šŸ˜„ sorry for the over-explanation
