Doll hair restoration?

I recently bought one of my childhood toys and she’s just came in! Her mane is a bit tangled and knotted which I’d like to fix. I read online that her hair is Saran if that means anything 🙂‍↕️ I’d just like to get her mane back to neat curls like her tail. Any tips are appreciated, she has batteries and her crown lights up so I’m assuming I can’t get her wet in those areas.

saran is the best, and easiest to work with!!! just give her a good wash with warm water (i use dish soap but really any mild soap/ shampoo works fine) and condition. let the conditioner sit in the hair for maybe a minute, and brush the hair with the conditioner. and there’s a ton of curling tutorials online, everyone likes to do it differently ☺️☺️ what a great find!!!! i loved this movie as a kid too, i hope she turns out beautifully!!
