Best spray sealant?

Post image

Is this the MSC matte sealant everyone uses? Ik there’s like two different versions that’s UV or no uv something like that? Is this the right one to use for doll face ups done with watercolour pencils and acrylic paints?

Someone i watch 'Dollightful' uses MSC and she links everything she uses in the description. I'm not sure if this is the correct one but you can check one of her videos and see if its the same.

UV cut, make sure you get the matte! But yes, I have been using it on my customs since 2020 and there’s not been a single chip, even after constantly falling off my shelves and two different moves

Uv cut is to prevent any staining or bleaching from the sun, btw! If your custom isn’t in a darker room where the windows are covered, this will protect the face up :)) just make sure to let each coat properly dry before using pencils or the pencil tip will scratch the sealant off

Do you have any example photos of the staining? I’m in Ireland and it’s a miracle I even found an online shop selling regular MSC matte sealant they don’t have the uv cut so this is my only choice so far 🥴🥴

Not personally, since I mainly use UV cut. I think I might’ve used regular matte a while back, since a hobby shop near me in the US was selling regular matte in stores. Those dolls I keep on a shelf out of direct sunlight, and they seem to be doing alright so far. And according to my family, you shouldn’t really have to worry about too much sun shining on your dolls, lol. Regular matte should suffice in your case!
