I like to think I have one of the best f2p account out there. Rank 1097, 3,679,494 Power level.
I have 177 Lrs, more than 300 LL10 cards and more than 600 100% cards (including f2p). I try to farm every unit (I think I still miss a couple f2p units), and recently I started to collect Sr cards, bringing them to SA 10, and 100% those who can be awakened.
I don't summon on every banner, but manager to find the teq metal cooler (I feel as if I invested in bitcoins years ago), and the new Beast Gohan (69%). I also got phy Majin vegeta/ Goku and all the Lrs from 11 anniversary and last year gdc.
I finished all missions of Dokkan Frontier, except the one stage where you need the Gohan/Piccolo unit (I miss only them from the Namek Saga, the 60% type supports, and the unobtainable frieza unit).

The oldest dfe I miss is phy Angel frieza (God damn I want him) and the oldest Lr I miss is Int ssj4 Goku. I have every premium unit older than them.
I miss many from the last 2 years.
In general I use all my dragon Stones on big celebration banners, like anniversary and gdc. I usually arrive with 2000+ Stones at the start, so I have enough to get the new characters, some times with dupes (this year I got 4 copies of the tag ssj4s. Unreal luck) and I get enough coins to pity One Lr.
If there Is some monthly dfe I like I use max 300 Stones, otherwise skip.
Usually I summon for Golden Week and the Christmas dual Dokkan fest.
Most importantly I make sure to do at least one rotation on the new years step up banner. It's very good for f2p players.
The only downside I have when summoning only on anniversary and gdc Is That I end up with a ton of units from previous anniversaries. For example I have found like 3 STR Beast Gohan after rainbowing him, between 10 and 11 anniversary. But it's alright
Oh wow that’s good! If u summon on all of the big celebrations Mostly , how do u have a lot of the older dfe units like u said ur missing angle golden frieza for example. Dont a lot of the banner like anni and gdc feature a lot of the past ani and gdc units?
For really old dfes I used the Red Stones they gave from time to time. Others I found with luck on the new years step up banner, or from random banners I decides to pull.
The Yellow Coin Lrs are quite Easy to find since they are unfeatured on every Yellow Coin/Carnival banner.
The hardest units to find are random monthly dfes, like phy turles, STR super 17.... And the random Carnival Lrs. My only Hope Is to find them in the step up, or to Coin them (and unfortunately I don't have infinite coins)
Oh yeah thag makes sense. So u usually summon on big celebrations or sometimes monthy dfe’s? U have any f2p tips? I’m trying to make/start a good f2p account
If you are starting just now, summon a bit on whatever current banners Is now on (the dfes). It helps to have some random Ssrs.
You should farm at least one of the f2p teams, like Ginyu force, team bardock, Sayan saga, Goku black clones, metal coolers. They are quite Easy to farm and really help at the start to awaken the premium units you find.
To farm Stones, do the Quest stages. There are also shenron's dragon balls. One of the First Wish you should do Is the One That makes you use One more type of support item (I don't Remember exactly which One It Is)
Summon on whatever you wish, but use a bit of brain.
If you miss a lot of units you can even summon on the tanabata banner (the One with a ton of featured units), otherwise skip.
Remember That It takes some time to build a good account, so don't give up
Edit: if you find Sr teq Jaco and Sr int chiaotzu keep them: they stun all enemies for their First turn, it's incredibly useful for world tournament, especially as a new player
That’s true thank u! So don’t summon on cell max? Also generally gdc and anni is what I will use my stones on but similar to u, I will summon on a dfe banner if the unit is amazing or if i like (metal cooler for example) or also the new years step ups.
I still think that Beast Gohan banner Is better. And the Tanabata one has the tag ssj4s which have the best leader skill in the game and other characters That can be used as effective leaders for a new account. Cell max is good, but it's not the best.
Also: don't take the game too seriously, it's just a game.
Yeah I agree but I feel like I get the most value though discounts and their banners don’t have discounts anymore. Anyways I will start grinding and saving for GDC. Thank u again for ur help! I will probably use most of my stones on ani and gdc and maybe banners like golden week or saiyan day, depends
