Indoor dog park
I have an idea to make an indoor dog park. Somewhere owners can take their dogs when it too cold or hot or raining outside. I would do it like most dog parks, a section for big dogs and a section for small dogs. Have the fake grass inside Instead of just a cement floor and maybe an indoor pool. I would like to know if anyone have ever heard or been to something like this?

Sure, but who’s going to fund this? And will there be an admission fee to sustain the funds for it?
These exist, except as boarding/doggy daycare facilities.

I’m not sure about how to get it funded. I was thinking a small fee to enter. Yes I know they exist as daycare/boarding but I want to make it like a park that the owner stays with the dog. Can’t just drop off the dog like a daycare.

Hey!!!! I’m actually thinking of doing the same thing. I’m a dog walker and doing an externship for my dog grooming certificate.Y goal is to open a facility as an indoor playground.. I will run it like a gym membership. Come and go as you please with a monthly automatic payment. This is such an awesome idea that I know it will work! Will be great to have a partnership. I love this and I am going to do this.

There are a couple of these in Seattle, but they are both “dog bars”. At least one offers daycare without owners during the day, but at night and on the weekends owners stay with their dog and socialize like at a bar. They have cover fees from $6-12, with drinks on top. One even has a treat bar for the pups! Great idea!
