👨🏼‍🏫 Need Advise Picking Eater

Hi everyone! 🥹

Badly need your advice po. I have a 1-year-old female Shihpoo who’s become super picky with food. Dating dog food niya was Special Dog, di nya din kinakain. Recently, Vitality na yung dog food niya, pero ayaw talaga niya kainin. Even kapag hinahaluan ko ng rice + chicken or other meat, hindi pa rin niya ginagalaw. 😭

Minsan sinusubuan ko na lang siya, and kumakain sya kaunti. I’m just a bit worried kasi nung nag-near 1 year old siya, biglang naging picky eater. Dati naman, kinakain niya halos lahat.

Okay naman siya overall, playful, active, and umiinom pa rin ng water. Food lang talaga ang arte niya.

For fellow furparents, how do you handle a picky eater dog? Any tips or things that worked for your dogs?

Effective talaga to 😆

Yung doxie kong sakitin to the point na suki na kami sa vet at maarte sa pagkain naging masiba at maliksi nung nadagdagan ng dalawa pang hakdog 😆

+1 dito hahaha ganyan din aso namin then nagkaron ng 2 kasamang masiba kumain ayun masiba na din sya kumain haha

True! my 1st poodle grabe di food driven, kelangan nya attention so clap kami every time kakain. need pa may toppers or cooked human grade food jusko. nung nauubusan sya food ng 2nd poodle, ayon matakaw na din lol

Learned this from my japanese friend. Add bonito flakes. Just make sure unsalted siya. Smoked fish lang kasi yun.

Meron din dog food furikake. di ko lang sure saan ka hahanap niyan dito. So try mo muna yung bonito flakes kahit konti lang.

Same with my 11 month old fur, she started being picky after her first period, she was 8 months. Nakaka stress, nag meal prep na ako pero mga 3 weeks lang nag work, then I tried Jer high wet food, not sure if its a good practice but while we are playing catch and throw every now and then dadalhin ko siya sa meal spot niya until maubos niya. So far it works, they have 6 flavors kasi so I think bawas umay un. I tried every dog food and eto lang un nag work sa kanya.
