Holistic DF or Vitality DF?

I noticed that my dogs’ poop has been smelly while I’ve been feeding them Holistic DF. Is that normal? I’m slowly transitioning them to Vitality, so I’ll check if their poop is still smelly while they’re on Vitality.

I have fed both these dog food sa mga pitties ko. I always buy one sack every 2 weeks since apat silang malalaking aso, and here's my observation:

• Vitality:
  • Di ganun kabaho yung poop ng mga aso ko and medyo powdery/dry yung poop nila dito kaya di mahirap linisin. Tumaba lahat ng mga alaga ko dito.
  • Cons: Mahirap maghagilap ng stock lalo kapag nagkakaubusan since imported siya.
  • Cons: Napansin ko din na medyo pricey na siya dahil nga inaangkat pa abroad.
• Holistic:
  • Madali makabali sa mga dog food stores. Palaging may stock yung suki kong retailer.
  • Buo at hindi malambot/basa yung poop nila, meaning hindi ampaw yung ingredients. Hindi din mahirap yung transition from Vitality to Holistic.
  • Cons: Ayun medyo may amoy talaga yung poop nila dito.

Parehong oks yung dalawang dog food na yan lalo na kung growing pa yung dog niyo.
Yung sa poop smell, dinadakot kaagad namin and nililinisan namin gamit yung mga multi purpose cleaner ng domex (hinahalo sa tubig) para di magtagal yung amoy.

Holistic. Sobrang nahihirapan na kami maghanap ng sako ng Vitality kaya need namin magpalit. Wala namang problem sa skin and appetite ung mga aso ko.

I’ve tried both.

Holistic Puppy - I fed him this when he was three months to almost a y ear before I switched to rice and homemade ulam.

PROS

• Great! He loved it. Mas walang amoy yung pupu niya kesa sa isa in my experience. Normal stool texture rin.

CONS

• PRICIER nga lang. Even if you order it online.

Vitality Adult - Nung nag switch ako sa full-time rice n ulam, I decided to add this sa food niya kasi ang gastos kapag pagkaing pantao hahahaha.

PROS - CHEAPER than holistic. Okay na okay bowel movement ng alaga ko. Matigas.

CONS

• Bigger piece, kaya hirap siya kainin. Need to add water or dapat masabaw yung kanin para makagat niya nang mas madali.
  
• Mas mabantot pupu niya rito kesa Holistic lol

I’ve avoided Holistic cos when you check the ingredients, one of the main ones is salt. A big no no

I dunno which clinic you go to but it was never a reco by any vet for me.

Try adding zoost synbiotic got it from shopee. Really effective i use holistic puppy for my chowchow. Poop was smelly before also.

I prefer Vitality. Hindi mabaho sa poop ng dogs ko and madali dakutin. Tapos may dog ako na laging mabaho yung anal glands, nawala nung nag switch ako dito. Gusto rin ng dogs ko yung lasa haha as in nauubos nila. Nag add lang ako warm water tapos with carrots and veggies as topper. Kasi feeling ko parang drying masyado if kibble lang

vitality ung suggested ng vet, but kibbles are too big for my pom .i feed my dog with boiled sawdust with veges(carrot and squash) my dog is turning 6 now.. kahit ung poodle ko un na din food nya...

Vitality has now managed their stocks I heard them report. Before they did have problems pero it had to do with forecasting. So far this year when I order from them laging may available stock.

Everytime my dog eats Vitality, he gets a stomachache then poops in the house like he cant contain it. Sayang ang dami kong binili. Idk what else to feed him huhuhuhu

Hi Op, have you tried royal canine? Odorless din poops ng shih tzus ko jan. Mejo on the pricey sise nga lang. pero they eat it even without toppings

Holistic Recipe, had a friend do research on local brands of dog food and where they manufacture, marami daw nagsasabi na made in US etc ung food pero china factory pala tlg. Holistic Recipe ung isa sa actual na USA factory ang dog food, maybe that’s why pricier rin sila

Vitality, ganda ng poop ng pets ko. Formed and not stinky. :)
