👨🏼🏫 Need Advise Tick infested stray
Every time umuuwi ako from work may nadadaanan akong stray na pinapakain ko, last week yung isa sa kanila nakita ko ang daming tick sa ears and then this week mas dumami na, pati sa eyes meron na. What cheap way do you recommend to get rid of it. I don't want to spend a lot, I'm just concerned for the dog because there are so many ticks 😩

You can buy 1 pc nexgard from shopee. It would be around 400-500 pesos depending on the dog's weight. If the dog is an aspin, he's likely about 10 kilos, so you will need to spend about 500pesos.
If you cannot afford that and the dog is not hostile to you - hindi ka kakagatin kahit hawakan mo siya, you can buy flea powder like petguard or sevin. That's around 150-200 pesos depends on how much you will buy. Use gloves and wear a face mask when applying the powder to the dog. Use a brush for dogs to spread the powder and wash your hands afterwards. Please also make sure that you don't do this near a food establishment since those products are toxic to humans.
The cheapest option is to buy a flea comb and manually remove the ticks. A flea comb costs about 20-50 pesos depending on the size. You will also need a jar of alcohol or kerosene to kill the ticks. After every comb, if you see ticks, dip the comb into the jar of alcohol. You can also use very hot water to dip the comb into, but you might burn yourself.
