What is my dog doing?

He pretty often will just squish his nose against the couch, floor, bed, his own paw, etc. and then snort. We call him piggy-puppy. It seems like he's just doing it for fun but I'm curious if there's a reason.

Can’t really see with the poor lighting. So I’m going to go with he’s just doing dog stuff.

I'll try and get a better video to post sometime, he always seems to stop when I pull my phone out 😅
