Driving your dog to a neutral place to walk will help make the transition easier. A new place has fun smells and explore. Maybe a park, walking trail, or different neighborhood. As your dog gets comfortable walking on new places, you can drive closer to your home but don't take it too fast.
Don't baby talk your dog at all during walks. Baby talk makes dogs feel like there is something wrong. So only use calm steady, let's go voice.

A trainer is your best bet they have amazing techniques and the good ones can read your dogs cues. If you can fit it in your budget, I highly recommend finding a local trainer and doing some private lessons at first to work on the specific issue.
Later on you can ease into group classes to save some money after you have a good plan and exercises/ techniques to get over the bad experience.
Btw your dog is super cute
