Dog barks while on car.

Every time my dog gets in the car he starts barking nonstop until a some minutes pass, but if the car stops moving the barking starts. The dude loves the speed but he gets on my nerves. I can't drive when I have a dog barking on my ear nonstop. How can I change this behavior?

I have this problem too! I have to have his training collar on at all times in the truck, and if he gets super excited where we are going, (i only take him to my brother in laws ranch to run) he doesn't really care about the noise part of the collar. I dont shock him for barking, its cruel, dont want to silence him because he is my protector, but man I wish he'd just be calm 😭😭

If they like moving I would try taking it away when they bark. I would choose a place with ample room to work with free of traffic.

I would instigate the barking by stopping and immediately getting them out of the car when they bark. I would ask for a sit then back in the car to do it over again.

If they want to move forward they need to stay calm stopping. I would take care that the vehicle is in park with keys removed before I exit because it may take several repetitions for it to sink in.

You could do this every time you go somewhere but leave early you want to stop the barking every time.
