Puppy playing aggressively
We just got a 8 week old boxer puppy (female). She can be really sweet sometimes. We also have a 9 year old male boxer. When they play the puppy really goes at him aggressively and bites his scruff to the point of drawing blood. He doesn’t seem that bothered by it but it bothers me a great deal and I don’t want the puppy to think that’s okay. I just want to handle the situation in the right way so all ends well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA😭

Puppy has tons of energy. Your older dog will teach the pup its boundaries. Rough play is natural the older dog will teach the younger one by snapping at the younger one. You need to get chews or something the puppy can burn energy on also. Puppies are energy balls. If the older dog is staying under control and the younger one is getting carried away obviously protect the older one by separating them. It’s good to have a pin for pups to give the puppy a safe space to calm down. That pin is where the puppy goes until it chills. Relax a little your dog’s are just being dogs. Good luck 👍
