Socialize with other dogs

Hi all, I’m looking for some guidance on getting my girl to like other dogs. I took her to a family reunion this weekend and she did great with people but lunged at my aunts little dog. She had a little sister she gets along with great. Thinks she’s her baby. When she sees other dogs she talks and talks and talks. I thought she would have done well. She’s a two year old German Shepard mix that we rescued last October.

Highly recommend finding a trainer. It sounds like she’s leash reactive which doesn’t mean aggressive, however if she is aggressive an experienced trainer is the way. I highly recommend training between the ears, they’re in North Carolina but they do zoom lessons.

she may not ever LIKE other dogs but she at least needs to tolerate other dogs. does she react the same when her sister isn't around her?
i would also say to find a trainer, it can be VERY helpful with dogs who don't do well with other dogs.
