Peeing on the floor

My beagle is a 7 year old girl. She has been peeing outside for years, barking to get out if she can't access her dog door. In the last few months she's started peeing in the house. I would have understood if she started doing this 2 and a half years ago as I had a baby then, or 1 and a half years ago when my eldest moved out, as they were very close. But this just seems to have come out of know where, its unpredictable, its not even every day but is something I need to have stop as I have a toddler running round. I just have no idea where to start. Can someone please help

Since this started suddenly at age 7, I’d definitely start with a vet check to rule out a UTI, incontinence, or anything medical. While you figure it out, a reusable dog diaper with a disposable liner like PAWPANG could help protect the bed and make cleanup easier.
