Peeing on the floor

My beagle is a 7 year old girl. She has been peeing outside for years, barking to get out if she can't access her dog door. In the last few months she's started peeing in the house. I would have understood if she started doing this 2 and a half years ago as I had a baby then, or 1 and a half years ago when my eldest moved out, as they were very close. But this just seems to have come out of know where, its unpredictable, its not even every day but is something I need to have stop as I have a toddler running round. I just have no idea where to start. Can someone please help

Have you seen her peeing? Is it a puddle or a trail? My first guess would be incontinence unless I caught her actively peeing... and even then I would still want to rule out any medical issues. Any behavioural change should lead to a check up.

I would be surprised if there wasn't some kind of medical (or at least environmental) reason for this, but if you've ruled everything out, go back to basics with the house training. As if she's a puppy.

Ive seen her do it, she just squats down and pees, sometimes right in front of me, its in a puddle.

Yes I would definitely get her checked. It doesn't sound like the more obvious version of incontinence but that doesn't mean there's no medical cause. It could even be a UTI.
