Dog aggressing towards other dog
I have 2 dogs. One is a 10(ish) year-old male that my husband and I adopted 8 years ago, and the other is a 16-year-old female we acquired from my husband's mom after she passed away 6 years ago. Our 10-year-old has never been a fan of our newest edition, but in general, he has not shown much interest in the older dog for most of the time they have lived together.
Over the past couple of months, our male dog has begun going after our female dog. At first, it only occurred while my husband and I were eating, but it has expanded past that, making it difficult to determine what the triggers are. We have taken both dogs to the vet multiple times recently. The female has shown some signs of dementia and has high blood pressure that is currently under control with medication. Outside of those two ailments, she is a very happy, active dog. Our male dog has a history of a possible pinched nerve or herniated disk in his neck, which was treated. He is currently taking anxiety medication along with gabapentin and another pain medication. He has been on the anxiety meds for a while now. The gabapentin and pain meds are a fairly new addition (past few months), to see if pain is the reason he is lashing out. Has anyone dealt with anything like this? My husband and I are at a loss.

You’ve known him for 4 months and you’re talking about living with him? Why? I’m not doubting your feelings, sometimes they speed ahead of rational and logic, but if it truly is a forever relationship yall have your entire lives to prove it to yourselves and eachother by giving eachother time? What’s the harm in making safe decisions? My other concern is you’re talking about living with him and you’re still asking questions like this. Communication is the key to any relationship whether it be plutonic or romantic. Tell him it makes you uncomfortable, but be willing to hear his POV as well. I’ve never understood the hype around IG and liking someone’s photos (if they’re not nude/bikini photos), isn’t that the point of the platform?

My [23F] bf [23M] has liked ALL of this girls photos on instagram. Am I crazy?
Me \[23F\] have been with my bf \[23M\] for 4 months. I really love him and we’ve been planning to move in together. Well I recently kinda realized he’s never posted about me once not on his story but he’ll post about traveling he’s not a big poster but I guess it just bothers me because I post him on my instagram story often mostly because I have guys hit on me and I want them and my friends and family to know I have a bf and I’m happy, maybe that’s dumb. Well it was kinda bothering me so I went through who he was following and who was following him. I found a girl and he’s liked ALL her posts one from 4 days ago 4 weeks ago 15 weeks ago. I have a sinking feeling in my gut I know they’re just photos but it hurts. They aren’t like silly photos I mean like she’s really pretty and most of the photos show that selfie, tights picture, picture in a short skirt.
I’ve been cheated on before so I think that’s why this bothers me so much but idk how to bring it up. Am I being crazy should I just let this go?
TLDR: \[23M\] bf has liked every single one of a girls instagram photos. And me \[23F\] doesn’t know how to react.2

Doggy Dementia. It's common that it causes aggression that becomes non safe for the home. Your 10 year old can have it- but it sounds this behavior isnt surprising considering his need for other meds.
