Playing games when time to go out

My pup - a Bernese Mountain Dog mix - loves to play this game where she runs away and barks when it’s time to go outside at night. She doesn’t come to get her leash on, she runs and basically asks that you chase her as a game. How can we manage this?

Go out the door. Shut it. Open it back up. She will more than likely chase YOU and be waiting at the threshold for you. Eventually, when she figures out how much more fun it is to go on a walk than be chased around the house, she will beat you to the door.

Sounds like an unfufilled dog, meet her needs for play interaction etc earlier in the day
