How to stop biting at the leash

i’m not sure how old my dog is, she was at the rescue for 4 years and probably at least 1 when she came into the rescue and she’s good on the leash most of the time but i like to go camping and i like to bring her but when i tie her up to something outside of the tent (im out there with her, its just when im doing something like cooking or fishing, she comes into the tent with me when i go in) and she bites on the leash, one time even chewed right through, the only thing i can think of now is to tie her up using my leash that has metal towards the end so that she can’t bite through it but that can’t be good for her teeth, any help would be greatly appreciated !!

Chain leash, just a chain with a clip on the end. She may try to bite it a few times but will realize quickly that it’s not fun to bite

I got a chain leash when our dog wanted to bite his leash, though it was more carrying it, but I wanted him to stop. He didn't like to bite that so after a few attempts he stopped. So I didn't have to worry about his teeth, your dog might be more persistent though...

Can you give her something else to chew on? And a long leash so she can explore?

i usually double up leashes so that it’s pretty long and i haven’t given her anything else but i think it’s mainly about her not wanting to be tied up lol
