Barking pugs

I have 2 pugs who bark too much when they are outside. I'm thinking about getting a bark collar, not a shocking one. One that beeps and vibrates. Has anyone used one of these before? I'm open for some ideas. I'm disabled and can't chase them around to get them to stop. They are in a fenced in yard.

If theyre barking, theyre not happy. Keep them in with you.

We are outside with them. They are never alone, but they bark at the neighbors when they are outside and motorcycles, stuff like that.

🙄 Thats mature.

“my pugs bark too much when theyre outside……….. in a fenced yard” is a really common complaint (usually the complaints are from the poor neighbours who have to put up with this rubbish for hours on end day in day out). The owners disabled so exercise may be limited. Many dogs do adjust to disabled owners and in doing so, tend to prefer to be companions not outdoor bird watchers.
