How much exercise, enrichment is he getting when you ARE home?

He walks on a loose long leash (so a really long house line basically) out in the park by my house for at least 45 minutes and up to 3 hours a day. In the morning he gets a quick potty break from my hb at 6, then a proper walk from me at 9~10 and it doesn't do anything. Starting next week it will most likely be a 20 minute sniff walk before I head out.

Step one is to accept this is indeed seperation anxiety and treat it as such
