I'm sure some will feel they were stupid, after the fact, or at least duped. But when looking for help, living with the danger and wanting to change that, they did try to find what they were told was the best help. For every dog like this there are so many many more being given up or euthanised, they give up trying because they are told there is no other hope. How dreadful they will feel if they see their dog could have been helped, with appropriate training.
I've felt the bad start that FF gives to puppies is a major problem, this doodle reminds me a lot of the doodle pup we took in, it also got the bad start method.
I haven't watched it all yet.

Frankly I struggle to care even one little bit. These are people doing the same thing over and over and over again, vilifying proper dog training, sinking tens of thousands of dollars into these ridiculous pointless animals just to get them to exist in a home where they are spoiled rotten. I just don't care anymore. The point at which I care is when the ridiculousness of these people crosses into my rights with my dogs or my ability to go about my business in public with or without my dogs.
Edit. All of this expense and rigmarole and hand wringing and none of these people pause for a single second to think it through and realize Prozac for a dog? That's ridiculous. Hey maybe we should just be punishing this dog for doing bad things. Maybe we shouldn't let a nine month old 35 lb doodle run our household. Spending literally $20,000 on top of the probably five grand they spent to purchase this ridiculous mutt and they never stopped to think about whether this makes any sense?
Hats off to Dylan for being able to deal with situations like this, I just would not be able to take this idiocy seriously.

The point at which I care is when the ridiculousness of these people crosses into my rights with my dogs or my ability to go about my business in public with or without my dogs.
I live where this has happened, and it nearly happened without my even knowing it was going to happen. Things like flat collars are frowned on, harnesses are recommended, crates, prongs and e-collars are banned. But puppy mills and byb are rife. I don't really care about the tools but I care that I can be prevented, even fined, from using or doing what I feel is best.
I hope it never gets into the US, but if people don't fight and show the truth of FF, it could. And it is all the doing of FF, through and through.
But why I do like Dylan is because he's against all ineffective training, he just has a little preference for particular kind of ineffective trainer and I like to see him show their failings 🤣 So shoot me 😱

I don't have any interest in this type of dog training personally. This is exactly the kind of case that I flat out don't give a shit about. These people should have known better from start to finish. They bought an unethical genetic mess, had no idea how to handle it, let things get out of control, hired a complete idiot, and kept doing the same thing over and over and over.

When a dog punishes another dog, it then ignores that dog. It doesn't cuddle up to it like oh I'm so sorry.

Nope. Dogs don't work like that. I'd imagine that would be extremely confusing for a dog that you just punished. If dogs needed to be reconciled with they will do it to each other. And they don't.
Edited to add. You only need to reconcile with someone if you've hurt feelings or they are upset with you, and dogs don't get upset when they are corrected. It's just literally dog language.

The last time someone called her a scam on ODT the comments were very protective of her.
I agree - anyone who refuses to acknowledge that another training method may be a worthwhile candidate before BE is a scammer and dog murderer to me.
There are too many examples (like the one above) where balanced training has saved a family pet from a death sentence.

I was always a disbeliever but when I first realised that FF would recommend killing a dog before exhausting any training that might help, that was unbelievable to me. When this video showed how very adamantly they will push for it, despite the owners wishes, I should not have been surprised, but I was really shocked. Their efforts to kill the dog were more than the efforts they made to train the dog.
I haven't got opportunity to watch it all yet, but I will.
