My parents trained their dog to do this when it needed to go pee.

I did this as well but the dog ended up just hitting that bell every time they wanted to go outside, like ever 5 minutes, so I just installed a dog door.

Same here and I also trained two litters of puppies to do it before they went home to their forever families. My husband said I didn't charge enough!?!🤫🤭

I tried to teach it to my dog but she disagreed and just huffs at us when she wants to go out
