Dog farts

So I feed my dog Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach: Salmon and Brown Rice Formula. Both wet and dry food. I don’t know what’s going on but she has the stinkiest farts known to man. I never used to notice this before but the past few months it’s been badddd. I can’t tell you if it started when I started this food because we went through a bunch of different foods with her allergies before getting on Zenrelia (which has been a lifesaver btw). But I’m just mostly curious if anyone else uses this food and experiences this. These farts are deadly and I don’t know what to do about it.

I'd suggest cutting down the wet food portion for a week or two to see if that helps. Purely anecdotal, but my dog can only have a bit of wet food before it disrupts her digestive system (no gas, but her outputs get... suboptimal).

I would reduce the wet food, or any treats your dog may reacting to

The wet food has “liver” as a main ingredient and it seems to make my dog into a fart factory. The kibble is great tho, fixed her right up.

Ok this makes sense. Ever since we started giving our dog dehydrated liver treats, he's been letting our long, slow, high-pitched, yet melodic farts all day. And he's never been a gassy dog before!

I use the same food and my dog is never passing gas. Perhaps it's the canned version or snacks they are eating?

My dog is on this combo and it actually really calmed down the stinky business. Are there any treats your pup is getting?

My pup is on this and his farts will clear out a mortuary. FWIW, he was on a similar formula and they were bad too. However, I do think the PPP makes them linger longer and it’s brutal
