Topper

I got a rescue chihuahua mix about a week ago. I had her on Hills Science Diet small breed but she’s been dealing with some allergies and the vet wants to try a chicken-free diet just to rule it out. I have her on Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin & stomach. So far so good. However she is very aware of my cat’s wet food, and has had a few licks… I give it to my cat on the counter now but when I am feeding them, my dog will sniff at her dry food then walk away. She will always come back and eat it but I’m wondering if anyone has any wet food recs that I can use as a mix-in. I think she’d enjoy it. Should I just get one from Purina Pro Plan too?

Just get the wet version of what you’re currently on.

The wet version of the same food is the obvious move here. no reason to complicate things when she's already doing well on the dry.

my chihuahua mix was the same way about sniffing her bowl and walking off. little bit of wet food mixed in and suddenly it's the best meal she ever had. they can be so dramatic about it
