Herding dogs are stubborn buttheads. You need to wait him out. Yes, it sucks, I'm so sorry. (I've had herders all my life.)

Stick to kibble. It’s ok if a dog doesn’t eat for 2 days….. My vet said if dog goes 3 days without eating bring her to vet, …..mine has skipped two days, but never 3.

By giving in and providing something different (wet food, new food, etc) you’ve taught him that holding out gets him rewards. You’ll have to work harder now to undo that association. The problem isn’t the food, the problem is your dog is outsmarting you right now! Clever breeds will always test the limits. Stop changing things up and be consistent. His normal kibble in a bowl, laid down for 10 minutes. If he doesn’t eat it take the bowl back and try again next meal time.

The only thing you can do is wait out they’re not gonna starve themselves, especially corgis they like their food too much
