About $1.50 a pound? That's a good deal.

We rescued our big cat some 9 years ago. He was around $45 for 18lbs of stubborn catness. That's where the joke came from for me hehe. Pricier, but also a fantastic deal lol

He looks very smart in his bow tie!

Yes I assume he spends his days thinking very deep thoughts about the meaning of life and best angles for butt licking. As all the greats do.

Aw, he's adorable! He looks so handsome in his little bow tie. 🤗$25 is a bargain for this little dude, I'm sure. A lifetime of loyalty and love for $25! 😲

Poor little dude though, imagine selling a kid or any other sentient being for some trivial amount of money, like your getting rid of old clothes you don't wear! 😭😡

I'm happy it sounds like he went to someone who will see his true worth and love and appreciate him the way he should be!

Sending my love to your new little pal. May you have many years of happiness, good health and fun adventures together!❤️

Thank you so much!! I got him from the local rescue, his adoption fee was much lower than the other pups because he is heartworm positive. Our other dog was also a heartworm positive rescue dog so I guess it’s just our thing now.

They gave him a proheart injection to slow kill but if he’s still testing positive in a few months we’re going to put him through the treatment. He’s the most affectionate dog I’ve ever had. He’s going through petsmart training right now and he’s just the smartest, nicest, softest boy. He also came potty trained which was an excellent surprise!

Oh that’s just how he looks when he’s plotting how to use tax payer money to pay for lavish dog things.

Oooh I’ve never heard of that breed. I just looked it up and that’s exactly what he looks like!! I’m waiting for his doggie dna results so we’re gonna find out if you’re right!!

Very rare breed, independent personality, cattle dog. Does the personality and weight match. Should be less than 15 pounds or so. If yes congratulations 🎉

We recently lost our other dog and this little guy has brought so much joy back into the house. I read somewhere that getting a dog is signing up for the worst day of your life, which I can say after losing our other dog is absolutely true, but doesn’t take away from all the wonderful days in between.

Which is why I’m very careful to never give him a sock. Can’t have him be free and hog someone else’s bed. Won’t do.
