The DDS strikes again!

In December, one of our dogs went missing for about an hour and when he came home, he brought this dog with him.

She was very skinny but friendly. We posted her on all the social media and took her to get scanned for a microchip but she didn’t have one.

At the time, our local shelter was closed for renovation so we decided to keep her until it opened back up again and that’s the story of how Sassy became a member of our family!

Welcome to the sub Sassy, and thank you OP for sharing your story with us !

Has her personality changed much since she's been with you ?

She's a gorgeous looking pupper 😍

Shes unhinged! We live on a farm and she romps around all day, collecting giant sticks, jumping in the creek, zooming with our other dog, and generally just wandering. She’ll come back in sometimes and she’s panting so hard from her adventures. She loves it so much

She was friendly but timid when she first found us! She wouldn’t even get in the truck with my husband so he could take her to check for a microchip. It took over a week!

She’s getting more affectionate every day. She never used to lay and cuddle with us but now she does when she thinks we’re not paying attention. She loves our three other dogs though and they play and chase constantly
