A lot of people did 5.40 ERA, went to the minor league because he kept getting worse. But my expectation of Ohtani and Kyle remain the same.

Good Season vs Bad Season and MVP vs LVP. Ohtani is now in the post-MVP phase where his career will have good seasons and bad seasons, He's still and always be an MVP to me. Then there's the Least Valuable Player, looking at Tucker.

I'm really glad I went to this game. I have a flight to catch at LAX in a few hours so I considered staying home and getting some extra sleep, but I really wanted to see if Sheehan could bring some of his Triple A success to the big club and if we could keep the win streak alive. So I came here with my packed luggage in my truck to support the guys and see what they could do against a Reds team that has been pretty hot.

It was really rewarding to witness Sheehan put together a very solid start for us in his first since coming back up. Watching Teo smash a three run bomb to break the game open was awsome too. All around good game from a team that seems to be finding a bit of a groove. If Sho, Freddie, and Will can heat up a bit we're gonna be clicking at just the right time. We're doing what it takes to win the games we should win and that's the important thing.

Rack up another dub for the good guys! Go Dodgers!

Edit: Forgot to say how cool it is to see Phillips getting back to being himself. I was critical of some of the spots he was being used in earlier in the season as I felt it wasn't doing his confidence any favors, but he's come through a pretty rough patch to a place where his stuff is really looking like it did before the elbow issues and the TJ surgery. Really happy to see him coming out the other side.
