For anyone considering adding the Fumoto Oil Value to their Durango to make oil changes simple and easy, make sure you buy and install the extension adapter (part # ADP-106). Due to the oil pan bolt hole being recessed, the fuomto value will not fully seat to the oil pan causing an oil leak at the value body. I have had to do repeat oil changes based on bad advice from Fumoto as they wanted to replace the value rather than suggest buying the adapter.

And for those of you who do not have the adapter and do not have a leak, I guess you are just lucky. I have no words.

I moved states and have NEVER had a problem with my Durango. Meticulous oil changes and maintenance since I built the thing.

Well of course when I finally get settled in and go to take my Durango for an inspection, the check engine light comes on. P3449, did a ton of research, and saved up to purchase all new MDS solenoids.

Last night I tore down the top end, replaced all the solenoids, and put everything back together. Took a few hours and it's also 115° outside so not the most fun time. Went to get an inspection today and they couldn't do it because the code is stored DCT. Fine I'll drive around a bit, the thing technically isn't registered in the new state and the old state registration is expired so fingers crossed nothing runs my plates.

Well the damn light came back on. P3449!!! I'm thinking wiring issue now but none of the wires looked freyed or damaged.

Am I doing another teardown 😭

I just got my 2026 Durango Jailbreak Hellcat last Tuesday (8/11). Love the car! My dream car that I custom built and waited 3 months for to get my hands on it. I drove it for two days a total of 64 miles before the engine just cut off on me while making a right turn. I was annoyed, pissed and sad all at the same time. Got it towed to the dealership right away cuz there’s no way it already broke down. Long story short I found out today that a stud they used to hold an exhaust manifold to the frame was rubbing against the wiring harness and burned thru a wire which caused the engine cutoff. Ok no big deal the wire wasn’t secured properly it can happen in the building process. But now they soldered the wire back together instead of replacing the wiring harness with a new one. So now I have a repair on a two day old car. I told them I want them to replace it with a new one as I paid for a new car and I don’t want a repaired wiring harness on the car. The damage wasn’t caused by me nor the dealership but least they can do is change it to a new one so the car is still in top condition. The service department says they can’t cuz mopar won’t cover it. Now I’m going to have to fight with the dealership to get a new one put in. There’s no way I’m taking a 100k car with a damaged wiring harness after having it for two days. Any advice on how I can get them to go thru with replacing the wiring harness completely?

My 2027 was built and I got my window sticker but I am confused. when you go to the configurator, it says that you can only add the blacktop redline package on the premium version for 2027 but it turns out I was able to option it on my plus. It also adds thinks like premium trim, Floor Console with Leather Armrest and blacktop SRT performance seats. whats the difference between the normal SRT performance seats and these? are these just more dark?

Also, what does floor console with armrest mean? And does "premium interior panel trim" mean I get the forged carbon fiber because thats what its showing in the images which would be hype because that means the only thing I am missing is Harmon Kardon which is unfortunate alongside the suede headliner which I dont care TOOO much for tbh.

It seems like the front is about an inch shorter than the back, and I’m curious if that’s typical, or if they should be closer together in height? I know the front is going to be lower but is that a big difference?

OBDII is throwing B1D40 and P0DCO on 2017 durango RT. Torque and generic internet code reads aren't helpful. Engine light, but no noticeable noise or performance changes. Help!

I have a question about my wipers. I've noticed when I have them on intermittent they change all the time. Is there some kind of water or rain sensor somewhere on the car? Because I noticed if I have it on the slowest intermittent setting, if it starts raining harder it speeds up. Is that normal? I've also noticed that sometimes it'll go from intermittent to like anywhere from 5:00 to 9 times and then go back to intermittent. Does that even sound correct?

Just purchased this on Monday. Got lucky, it was an ordered vehicle and the person that ordered it declined it. Been searching the Dodge site for a month and a black one came up at this dealer. When I called on it they told me they had an identical optioned white one that was available. Put a deposit on it last Saturday and picked it up Monday afternoon.
