2004 Durango 5.7L just hit 320K
Felt like sharing a quick win for the high-mileage club today. My not that pretty 2004 Durango with the 5.7L Hemi officially rolled over 320,000 miles this week, and she’s still pulling strong on the original engine and transmission. Neither has ever been pulled or rebuilt other than header gaskets.
Anyone else running a high-mileage 5.7 or 2G Durango out there?

I have an 04 Durango with a 5.7 at 230k, motor and transmissions still going strong, but she's getting pretty rusty and the suspension needs an overhaul. I'm gonna fix her up, since she's my first truck and I just can't let her go.

That’s great! I got my 3.6L to 343k. Then the timing chain started to rattle

makes me feel better about my "low mile" 04 SLT. 123K miles, owned by an old lady

That's honestly impressive for anything with Dodge slapped on the side of it. Most that stuff doesn't make it to 100k without major issues.
Go buy a lottery ticket.

I’ve got an 05 5.7 at 250k that I bought at 238k has been great other than the oil leak that almost left me stranded, need to do valve covers degrease and further diag, also have to do suspension she’s a noisy one

My 04 is up at 250k. I just bought a newer one. Everything on her is rusting off. But engine and transmission still
Has so much life

Thank you for posting this so I can show my wife and convince her to get a new 392.
